Four companies dedicated to the sale of motorcycles, accessories and cargo and logistics services of the Colon Free Zone (ZLC), will participate in the International Havana Fair (Fihav) 2017 that starts today in Cuba.
A statement from the ZLC informed on Sunday that the companies that will participate in the Cuban fair, which will run until November 3, are Unison Internacional SA, Global Bike Group Corp. with the trademark Mishozuki Motos, Importadora Zona Libre, and Alyan Internacional SA
“We return with great enthusiasm to Fihav to offer the excellent range of products and services of the Free Zone, even more so with the good previous experience, in which our companies closed sales for more than 1 million dollars,” said the manager of the ZLC, Manuel Grimaldo.
According to Cuban official data cited by the Panamanian authorities, the Havana Fair will host around 3,000 exhibitors, some 37 delegations from Cuba’s commercial partners, and 50 chambers and institutions promoting international trade.
“This trade fair event is the most important general commercial showcase of Cuba and the Caribbean, and one of the most representative in Latin America,” said Grimaldo, according to the statement.
Panamanian statistics show that the commercial exchange between Cuba and the ZLC reached 257.68 million dollars of 2016, of which 998.233 dollars corresponded to Cuban imports.
At the end of the first half of this year, the re–exports of the ZLC to Cuba reached 135.7 million dollars, while imports were at 684,000 dollars, the official statement added.
