Hundreds dead after earthquake on the Iraq-Iran border

The 7.3 Richter scale earthquake on the Iran-Iraq border caused at least seven deaths and 201 injuries in this region, the government of the autonomous (north) region of Kurdistan reported.
 
Four of the fatalities were recorded in the town of Darbandiján, near the Iranian border, two others in Karamian and one in Suleimaniya, according to the regional health ministry in a statement.
 
The department also claimed that 201 people were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity and another 120 were treated for panic attacks.

In Iran more than 200 people died and 1,600 were wounded by the earthquake, that devastated the Iranian province of Kermanshah last night.
