A nap that lasts more than 30 minutes will only make you feel more stunned and exhausted than before taking it.
Surely when you were younger, your gym teachers used to tell you to make sure you stretch your muscles well before doing any vigorous activity. However, experts now say that performing stretches before training can actually do you more harm than good.
Static stretching before exercise not only decreases muscle strength, it also increases the risk of forcing more muscles without need. This increases the risk of tearing or harm.
