The Panamanian government launched on Tuesday the National Strategic Plan with State Vision 20-30, a document that guides the achievement of the Sustainable Development Objectives (ODS).
The document was delivered by the representatives of the Council of National Concertation for Development to the vice president and Chancellor Isabel De Saint Malo, who led the event along with Labor and Professional Development Minister Luis Ernesto Carles.
The vice president stressed that Panama is the "first country in the region" to present this plan that, under five strategic axes will become the instrument to achieve the 17 ODS, among which are: the end to poverty, eradication of hunger, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, as well as peace, justice and strong institutions, among others.
The Strategic Plan Panama 2030, establishes axes as:
• Good life for all
• Grow more and better
• Environmental sustainability
• Democracy, institutionality and governance
• Strategic alliances for development
