FIFA fined the Panamanian Football Federation (Fepafut) $ 10,000 for misconduct and for violating the safety of the Rommel Fernández stadium, in the game of last October 10 against Costa Rica that won 2-1 and gave it its first classification to a world championship, Russia 2018.

FIFA said on Tuesday on its website that the fine is due to misconduct of the stadium attendants, invasion of the playing field of the coaching staff and spectators, as well as the use of flares.

The entity had already fined $ 26,710 to Fepafut for homophobic songs from their fans in the match that the Panamanian team beat Trinidad and Tobago 3-0 on September 5th during the Concacaf’s qualifying rounds to the Russia World Cup.

In addition to the fine, FIFA also issued a warning to Fepafut and, in the event of new incidents, it would be sanctioned.
