Both shipping companies begin the next month of travel to Panama until March 2018.
The German company TUI, one of the largest tour operators in the world, made its debut in the Panamanian market on November 21, 2016, with the arrival at Puerto Colón 2000 of the cruise Mein Schiff 4, with more than 3 thousand passengers.
After its debut in the Panamanian coast, the company made 10 trips, from November 2016 to April this year, with 3 thousand 500 passengers on board at each departure, and from November to April 2018 is scheduled to hold 10 stops as well, as a part of its service in the Caribbean.
Meanwhile, cruise ships Aida Cruises have more than 10 years of being docked at Puerto Colon 2000, always between five and 10 arrivals per year.
In October of last year, at a meeting in Berlin, Germany, one of the executives of the German TUI group, Thomas Ellerbeck, announced to President Juan Carlos Varela that the consortium would include from November 2016 the province of Colón among its touristic destinations.
