Quito requests Caracas further information about incident with ecuadorians leaders

QUITO. - Ecuador requested additional information from Venezuelan Government about an incident on Friday in Caracas, involving Ecuadorian deputies Cynthia Viteri and Henry Cucalón who were forced to return to their country when they were trying to visit the Venezuelan prisoner Leopoldo Lopez.

The Ecuadorian Foreign Affairs office expressed "worry for the incident" that involved presidential pre-candidate Viteri, Cucalón and other accompanists

A statement said "immediately after having known the facts" the Embassy of Ecuador in Caracas directed communications with the State Departments and of Interiors of Venezuela "to request that the constitutional laws are guaranteed" for the Ecuadorians.
