The relief authorities of Panama today reported at least 20 homes flooded and minor landslides caused by the rains, which will be maintained during the next few hours.

In the Miraflores sector of the province of Panama there was a minor slip, said Sinaproc, which did not rule out the possibility of new landslides and sudden overflows of streams, streams and sewers due to persistent rain.

The forecasts indicate moderate to strong rainfall with electric shocks and possible gusts of wind in the provinces of Colón, Panama Los Santos, Bocas del Toro, Veraguas, Panama West and Darién, and in the regions of Guna Yala and Ngobe Buglé, according to with the official information.

The general director of Sinaproc, José Donderis, asked the population "to avoid behaviors that put lives at risk, be attentive to technical reports, avoid spreading false rumors (in social networks) and abide by instructions from the authorities".
