Nidal Waked sentenced to more than two years in prison

The anamanian entrepreneur pleaded guilty of bank fraud before a judge in Miami more than two months ago

On December 18, a judge in Miami, United States, sentenced Panamanian entrepreneur Nidal Waked to 27 months in prison (two years and three months). The businessman has been arrested for bank fraud since May 2016.

Due to the time he has spent under arrest in US territory, the judge of the case declared that the time of detention would be reduced from the sentence.

Waked pleaded guilty of bank fraud before a judge in Miami more than two months ago.

Nidal Waked was a general manager of the corporation Vida Panamá ZL S.A. between 2000 and 2009, and held two Miami-based corporations, Star Textile.
