PANAMA CITY.- The president of Panama expressed his condolences to the authorities and the Cuban people for the death of the revolutionary leader Fidel Castro.
"Our condolences to the people and Government of Cuba for the death of Fidel Castro, historical leader of the Cuban Revolution," the president said in his twitter account.
The chancellor and vice-president, Isabel De Saint Malo, also expressed on Twitter "our solidarity and condolences" to the Cubans and their Government.

Castro died late on Friday Nov. 25. The news was announced in an address on state television shortly thereafter by the leader's brother and current president, Raúl Castro.
