The Club Atlético Independiente (CAI), the favorite team in Panama after its win against Toronto FC in the CONCACAF Champions League, will expose its unbeaten record on the fifth day of the Closing Tournament 2019 of the Panamanian Soccer League (PSL), against the defending champion Tauro FC.

The players of the Venezuelan Francisco Perlo, who showed their punch last Wednesday, go second with 10 points, next Saturday will seek their fourth victory in the tournament, waiting for a setback of the leader to ride on top of the contest.

The Tauro FC, fourth place with six units, will seek his third win in a row in the tournament.

The Uruguayan Saúl Maldonado is convinced that this triumph must be obtained.

"It's a good match with CAI, we hope to win, because we have to keep growing in the table, because we're playing at 50 percent", he said.

Saturday also plays the leader, Sporting San Miguelito, which accumulates 10 points with +5 difference goals, will go to Alianza FC which is seventh with six units.

The Colombian Jair Palacios, Sporting coach, will face his former team, considering that a win against the gold and green team would keep one more date at the top.

The alliance, with the leading scorer of the tournament, with three goals, César "Bombo" Medina, want to climb in the standings and with a victory against the leader and undefeated, would be a good prize for the Venezuelan Alberto Valencia.

The Plaza Amador will face San Francisco, in the closing of the Saturday soccer day, which is composed of three games.

The "placinos lions", eighth with 4 units, have not started in the best way, they have only won one game -at the referee table- and next Saturday they want to take advantage of the locality before the “monks”, fifth with six points and led by the Colombian Gonzalo Soto, who intend to add his third win in the championship.

Javier Álvarez, Colombian coach at the front of the Plaza Amador, recognizes that "it was not the start I expected", but they have a lot of tournament ahead.

The fifth date will start on Friday with the duel between Árabe Unido de Colón, third with 8 points, and the Costa del Este, ninth with a point and close next Sunday with the match -behind closed doors- between Santa Gema, last with zero units, and Universitario, sixth and six points in their favor.
