BARCELONA.- Neymar has signed a contract to remain with Barcelona until 2021.
The player was mentioned in the club offices, at 15.00, to initialling a new contract before training this afternoon, along with the rest of the workforce, in the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper.
At Camp Nou building were waiting the president of FC Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu; the sports vice president, Jordi Mestre; the manager Javier Bordas; technical, Robert Fernandez; executive director, Òscar Grau; and Professional Sports director, Albert Soler.
The club released a photo of the Brazilian shaking hands with club president Josep Maria Bartomeu while the ink was drying.
Neymar's new buyout clause has been fixed at €200m for the first year of the deal, €222m for the second and will then increase to €250m for the remaining three years.
