Panamanian Left-wing back Luis Carlos Ovalle traveled to Venezuela to reinforce Atletico Venezuela for the 2019 season in the soccer's first division of that country.
The Panamanian is well known in Venezuela's soccer for being a member of the Zamora Football Club that won four consecutive absolute titles between 2012 and 2015.
Ovalle, a world cup player with Panama in Russia 2018, had his most recent experience in the local tournament, with Sporting San Miguelito, the team in which he played ten games, added 900 minutes on the field but failed to score goals.
Now, the 30-year-old soccer player has a golden opportunity to refresh his career as he did in his time with Zamora, which opened the doors for him to play with Deportes Tolima in the Colombian soccer.
Atletico Venezuela will become the ninth team in which Ovalle plays. He can provide solid defense and depth in the attack for his wing.
His debut could take place this same weekend when Atletico Venezuela faces in the city of Puerto Ordaz (south of the country) the newly promoted First Division Lala FC.
